In 1968 a marble industrialization plant was established in Pénjamo, Guanajuato to serve the markets of the main cities of Guanajuato and Guadalajara, Jalisco. The initial business name was Mármoles del Centro S.A. de C.V. Under the direction of Mr. Humberto Pérez . Then 10 x 30 cm parquet was cut, which was the commercial measure.
In 1974, the first Italian laminator was purchased to supply our customers with a marble plate. Here formed Mármoles Pevi, S.A. de C.V.
In 1978, the company won the exclusivity contract to sell Guatemala's marbles in the country: Green Tikal and Alejandra White.
In the year of 1981, to better serve the Western and Pacific region, a distribution center was established in Guadalajara, Jalisco. For these dates and since then in order to satisfy our market, in addition to processing marbles from the country, marbles, quarries and granites are imported from different parts of the world such as Brazil, Guatemala, Spain, Italy, etc.
As of 2006, it was decided that the Guadalajara Distribution Center would be managed independently giving rise to different family social reasons that continue to serve the clients of Mármoles Pevi, S.A. from C.V.
This is how our company, emerged, Marbles and Granites in Guadalajara headed by Don Humberto Pérez Medel, with the emphasis of attending the needs of the builders offering a comprehensive and specialized service to our customers.
